Eileen O'Toole, Esq. is the principal of The Law Office of Eileen O’Toole. She is the author of the New York Rent Regulation Checklist, published by the Habitat Group. She also writes the Habitat Group's monthly case digest, New York Landlord v. Tenant, and edits the annual NYC Apartment Management Checklist. In her practice, Eileen counsels owners and prospective purchasers of residential properties on rent regulatory issues, and appears in court actions and administrative proceedings to litigate disputes over leasing, rent overcharge, exemptions from rent stabilization, and other housing issues.
