Senate Confirms Pam Patenaude as HUD Deputy Secretary

The Senate recently confirmed Pamela Patenaude as Deputy Secretary of HUD by an 80-17 vote. HUD Announces Disaster Assistance for Hurricane Harvey Victims

In the wake of Hurricane Harvey, HUD has announced that it will speed federal disaster assistance to the State of Texas and provide support to homeowners and low-income renters forced from their homes due to the hurricane. Senate Appropriations Committee Approves FY 2018 Housing Spending Bill

On July 25, the Senate Transportation, Housing and Urban Development, and Related Appropriations Subcommittee advanced its FY 2018 Transportation, Housing and Urban Development (THUD) spending bill. The committee voted to approve the bill by a vote of 31 to 0. The bill includes a $1.4 billion increase in funding for HUD over FY 2017. And it sets the stage for a bipartisan budget deal.

Secretary Carson Says HUD Will ‘Reinterpret’ AFFH Rule

Democratic Senators Urge HUD Secretary to Restore LGBTQ Nondiscrimination Resources
