Commercial Lease Law Insider Named Best Business Newsletter

Jun 4, 2020

On June 2, Commercial Lease Law Insider received the First Place Award for Best Business Newsletter, presented by the Specialized Information Publisher’s Association  at its annual conference.

The judges based their decision on 2019 issues in which our editor explained:

  • The best practices for leasing to food hall tenants (August, available here);
  • How to negotiate a force majeure clause that goes beyond standard, boilerplate clauses (September, available here); and
  • How to draft a clause granting tenant improvement allowances that minimizes financial and liability risks (October, available here).

Each of these features included model lease language that readers could adapt and use in their leases.

Congratulations to our editor, and thank you to our subscribers for suggesting the topics most relevant to their businesses, and to our Board of Advisors for providing their expertise. To suggest topics for future issues, please contact our editor at glennsdemby@gmail.com.
